Welcome to the Zoo! 

Zoo Miami (also known as The Miami-Dade Zoological Park and Gardens) is the largest and oldest zoological garden in Florida and the only sub-tropical zoo in the continental United States. Here are some helpful tips for your visit:

Things to know before you visit!
  • Due to daily capacity we recommend purchasing one-day tickets online.
  • Black Rhino is under construction for future improvements.
  • Due to cold tempatures some animals may not be out, or have access to their night houses. Some animals maybe more active as well. 
  • In order to prepare for our night event on Feb 17  the zoo will be closing at 4 p.m.  (last ticket sold at 3p.m.) All activities will also be closing early or have modified times.
