Service Systems Associates, at Zoo Miami, is currently looking to add energetic, enthusiastic team members with a passion for going above and beyond to our food service family for the 2018 season!
Food Service employees provide front line guest service as well as handle and prepare meals and snacks, safely and efficiently, for our guests.
We are currently looking for both FOH team lead, cashier, busser, and BOH sous chef, prep cook, line cook, dishwasher team members.
All positions will mostly be working in scramble-style or exhibition style locations where you will be interacting directly with the guests.
All of our food service team members interact one on one with our guests providing that extra touch to make their zoo visit memorable.
Guest satisfaction and customer service are among our top priorities.
Many of our team members are trained to work multiple locations and positions.
Some of your other responsibilities may include:
Excellent teamwork and customer service skills a must.
Cash handling experience is a plus.
Must have an open schedule (we are open 7 days a week and often have evening catering events after the zoo is closed!). However, we will work around your school/other job schedules as much as we are able.
At least some Holidays and weekends may be required. As a cultural attraction, these are our busiest days!
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds, and provide exemplary guest service at all times.
We participate in E-Verify.
This is a position with hours that vary depending on weather and zoo attendance.
