Yesterday, Zoo Miami’s pair of highly endangered Cuban crocodiles were sedated and brought to the zoo’s animal hospital so that they could receive radiographs to determine if there were any foreign items in their stomachs. These exams were deemed necessary when reports came in from patrons that a plastic bottle had fallen into the habitat.
