Canine Champions for Conservation is a high energy dog show that features rescue dogs that provide guest interaction and doggie meet and greets at the end of each show. Every show is visual, scripted, choreographed to music, and professionally presented while delivering a compelling message on how dogs assist in conservation efforts to protect wildlife. The show features stunt dogs, trick dogs, Frisbee dogs, and a scent detection demonstration. All the dogs in the show are trained using positive training methods with the use of a clicker and toy motivation. They each showcase their talents and signature moves. The show’s mission is to promote pet adoption, responsible pet ownership, and educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering. *
*Pets are not allowed inside the zoo. The trainers and trained dogs in this show have been approved by our animal care, health, and welfare teams and follow protocols that support the health of our animals and theirs.

In support of the show’s pet adoption mission, Zoo Miami is happy to partner with Miami-Dade Animal Services to bring out their HOPE Express mobile adoption unit that will be located on the promenade at the main entrance on opening weekend, June 10 and 11 from 11 am to 4 pm. Adopting a pet is a wonderful decision that not only brings joy and companionship into your life but also saves a precious life.
