Our award-winning camps combine education with entertainment where your kids will enjoy learning about wildlife, getting an introduction to environmental conservation, and making new friends. For the second year in a row Zoo Miami Camp has been recognized as the best in South Florida!
Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Morning and afternoon snacks provided. Campers must bring their own lunches with beverages from home. Programs are subject to change.

January 20 - Project Zoo
Have you ever wanted to build a zoo? What animals would you include? How would arrange their enclosures? In this mini-camp students will learn goes into creating and maintaining a zoo.
February 17 - Prehistoric Adventure
Become a paleontologist in the search for fossils and check out what we have roaming in the zoo. Watch out for that pesky tripceratops along the way!
April 10 -Dynamite Dino's
Let’s explore the most prehistoric animals of all! Discover famous dinosaurs that existed during the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods.
May 25 - Habitat Heroes
Metropolis has Superman, Gotham has Batman, and nature has its own heroes known as keystone species. But what happens if they disappear? Join us and find out!
Camp Meal Plan
We are now offering a packed lunch provided by Zoo Miami's Taste of the Wild catering service! Meal Plan includes a main dish, two sides, and a drink.
Bring home all the fun of Camp and support the Zoo's wildlife enrichment by adopting an animal! Each day will feature a different animal based on the week's activities. Discounted package includes plush animal, certificate of adoption, fact sheet, and animal photo by Ron Magill that will be sent home with your child at the end of the day.

Spring is in the air! It is the perfect time of year to come to Zoo Miami where campers will experience a unique adventure during their Spring Break by learning about what is hopping, hatching, blooming or buzzing this season.
Campers will be fully emerged into the world of animal science as they work alongside our very own zookeepers. See if you have what it takes to pursue this very challenging yet rewarding career path. Don’t worry, it won’t be all work and no play! Campers will also get a chance to meet our animal ambassadors behind the scenes and have plenty of time for fun around the zoo!
