Week 1 (Dec 21-24) - Conservation Roundup
What are we doing to protect nature and wildlife in our communities? Zoo Miami has many projects we are proud to be a part of including butterflies, gopher tortoises, and Zoo Doo! Join us to learn how you can make a difference.
Week 2 (Dec 28-31) - Field Investigation
Discover different habitats, such as rainforest and deserts, and analyze how animals are evolved to live in these unique habitats. Let’s test our problem-solving skills as we look at how animals survive different conditions thrown at them.
Camp Meal Plan
We are now offering a packed lunch provided by Zoo Miami's Taste of the Wild catering service! Meal Plan includes a main dish, two sides, and a drink.
Camp Adopt-an-Animal
Bring home all the fun of Camp and support the Zoo's wildlife enrichment by adopting an animal! Each week will feature a different animal based on the week's activities. Discounted package includes plush animal, certificate of adoption, fact sheet, and animal photo by Ron Magill that will be sent home with your child at the end of the day.
Mini-Camps are not scheduled at this time due to COVID-19. Please check out our Zoo Adventure Club program where kids can bring the zoo to their home!

Animal Care
Campers will be fully emerged into the world of animal science as they work alongside our very own zookeepers. See if you have what it takes to pursue this very challenging yet rewarding career path. Don’t worry, it won’t be all work and no play! Campers will also get a chance to meet our animal ambassadors behind the scenes and have plenty of time for fun around the zoo!
Protecting Wildlife
Research and action are critical to the success of saving species in the wild! In this adventure, explore various conservation projects that Zoo Miami takes part in to protect wildlife. Activities include invasive species control, field research, community projects, behind the scenes experiences, and more!
