Our award-winning camps combine education with entertainment where your kids will enjoy learning about wildlife, getting an introduction to environmental conservation, and making new friends. For the second year in a row Zoo Miami Camp has been recognized as the best in South Florida!
Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Morning and afternoon snacks provided. Campers must bring their own lunches with beverages from home. Programs are subject to change.

Spring is in the air! It is the perfect time of year to come to Zoo Miami where campers will experience a unique adventure during their Spring Break by learning about what is hopping, hatching, blooming or buzzing this season.

Camp Meal Plan
We are now offering a packed lunch provided by Zoo Miami's Taste of the Wild catering service! Meal Plan includes a main dish, two sides, and a drink.
Bring home all the fun of Camp and support the Zoo's wildlife enrichment by adopting an animal! Each day will feature a different animal based on the week's activities. Discounted package includes plush animal, certificate of adoption, fact sheet, and animal photo by Ron Magill that will be sent home with your child at the end of the day.

Dynamite Dinos! - Week 1 (June 8-12)
Last chance to see dinosaurs before they migrate out of Zoo Miami! Explore the age of dinosaurs at Zoo Camp creating your own fossil, seeing over 15 species over dinosaurs, and getting up close encounters with Zoo Miami’s own ambassador animals. Getting ready for a roaring time!
Habitat Invaders! - Week 2 (June 15-19) & Week 7 (July 20-24)
What is an African giant snail doing in Florida? Why are domestic cats endangering Australian animals? There’s a crazy vine taking over a forest! Non-native plants and animals are invading new habitats putting the local wildlife in danger. Join us as explore and work to solve this problem!
Operation Going Green - Week 3 (June 22-16) & Week 8 (July 27-31)
Join the challenge of adopting green habits helping protect the environment! During this operation we will learning about gardening, how to convert trash to treasure, and apply the five R’s daily.
Strive to Survive - Week 4 (June 29 – July 3) & Week 9 (Aug 3-7)
Nature holds amazing creatures such as poisonous frogs, intelligent primates, and more that adapted awesome features to help them survive. In this exciting adventure, discover how survival of the fittest holds true in the wild.
Artful Antics - Week 5 (July 6-10) & Week 10 (Aug 10-14)
One person’s trash is another person’s treasure. We are delving into art and design, creating enrichments for our zoo animals from recycled materials. Create fake prey animals for one of our predators and presents for animal’s birthdays.
Zoo Boss - Week 6 (July 13-17) & Week 10 (Aug 17-21)
What does it take to run a zoo? From animal welfare to conservation research to security it takes a lot of work to keep this place in tip top shape. This week we explore everything from zookeeping, nutrition, research, making money and more.

Campers will be fully emerged into the world of animal science as they work alongside our very own zookeepers. See if you have what it takes to pursue this very challenging yet rewarding career path. Don’t worry, it won’t be all work and no play! Campers will also get a chance to meet our animal ambassadors behind the scenes and have plenty of time for fun around the zoo!

Research and action are critical to the success of saving species in the wild! In this adventure, explore various conservation projects that Zoo Miami takes part in to protect wildlife. Activities include invasive species control, field research, community projects, behind the scenes experiences, and more!
