Week 1 (Jun 10- 14) & 6 (July 15-19): Zooperhero's

The power of strength, flight, sonar and more in superhero’s is inspired by the animal kingdom.  Chameleons that are almost invisible as they change color to match their surroundings. Elephants that have the strength to knock down trees!  What other “superpowers” do animals have?

Week 2 (Jun 17-21) & 7 (July 22-26): Zoo Crew

Dive into the great outdoors as campers discover all of the natural wonder we have right here in our own backyard! Campers will have plenty of nature play opportunities going on bug hunts, making natural crafts and planting in our native butterfly garden! Meet some of our native animals up-close and make friends while getting lost in the wilderness!

Week 3 (June 24-28) & 8 (July 29-Aug 2): Lights,Camera, & Action

Let’s follow Ron Magill footsteps as an animal ambassador! What is your favorite animal? What can you do to save it from extinction? Grow into an eco-warrior with us giving our animal ambassadors a voice.

Week 4 (Jul 1-5)* & 9 (Aug 5-9): Habitat Kings

All habitats have a “king” whether it’s in the rainforests, savannas, wetlands, deserts, and more.  Find out why these “kings” are at the top of the chain and how all species are connected.

*No Camp July 4th

Week 5 (Jul 8-12) & 10 (Aug 12-16): Tall Tales

From camels storing water in their humps to porcupines shooting quills. We have all heard some crazy myths about animals. Together we will uncover fact from fiction as we become Mythbusters conducting our own experiments!

*Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Morning and afternoon snacks provided. Campers must bring their own lunches with beverages from home. Programs are subject to change.
