FAQs

Will I need to wear a mask?

Guests 2 and older are required to wear masks inside all indoor facilities, even if vaccinated.

Where can I purchase my Zoo Lights tickets? 

Tickets can be purchased at shop.zoomiami.org. Tickets are only available online and Zoo Lights is expected to sell out this year, so make sure to purchase your tickets in advance!

As a Zoo Miami member, do I receive any discounts?

Yes! As a member you should have received a promo code in the email you provided us. This code allows you to save $3 on early bird or regular pricing. If you need the promo code, please contact our Membership Department at mbr@zoomiami.org

Does my zoo admission apply to Zoo Lights?

No. Daytime admission (including membership) does not include Zoo Lights. Zoo Lights is a separate ticketed price.

What time does the zoo close during Zoo Lights nights?

The zoo will close at 4 p.m. during select nights in order to prepare to reopen at 6:30 p.m. for Zoo Lights.

Is the boat ride free?

Boat rides will be $5 per person for a seven-minute ride. 

Where can I redeem my hot chocolate and cookie package?

Once your ticket is scanned at the front entrance, our Guest Service Representatives will provide you a ticket to exchange at one of our food locations.

 

As part of the Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces we have taken enhanced health and safety measures - for you, our other Guests, and Staff.  You must follow all posted instructions while visiting any of our locations.
