FAQs
Where can I purchase my Zoo Lights tickets?
Tickets can be purchased at shop.zoomiami.org. Tickets are only available online and Zoo Lights is expected to sell out this year, so make sure to purchase your tickets in advance!
As a Zoo Miami member, do I receive any discounts?
Yes! As a member you should have received a promo code in the email you provided us. This code allows you to save on early bird or regular pricing. If you need the promo code, please contact our Membership Department at membership@zoomiami.org.
Can I rent a stroller or wheelchair?
Yes, strollers and wheelchairs will be available to rent onsite at the Rentals Building located near the main entrance inside the zoo, while supplies last. Motorized wheelchairs will not be available to rent during Zoo Lights as they will be charging after being used by guests during the day.
- Single Stroller: $5.50 (includes tax)
- Double Stroller: $6.50 (includes tax)
- Wheelchair: $5.50 (includes tax)

Can I rent a Safari Cycle for Zoo Lights?
No, unfortunately due to the limited footprint, the pathways are not wide enough for guests and Safari Cycles.
Does my zoo admission apply to Zoo Lights?
No. Daytime admission (including membership) does not include Zoo Lights. Zoo Lights is a separate ticketed price.
Can I change the date of my Zoo Lights Tickets?
As long as you email zoomiami@miamidade.gov within 48 hours of your Zoo Lights event date.
What time does the zoo close during Zoo Lights nights?
The zoo will close at 4 p.m. during select nights in order to prepare to reopen at 6:30 p.m. for Zoo Lights.
Is the boat ride free?
Boat rides will be $5 per person for a seven-minute ride.
Where can I redeem my hot chocolate and cookie package?
Once your ticket is scanned at the front entrance, our Guest Service Representatives will provide you a ticket to exchange at one of our food locations.
